This Hotel and Tour Booking Site is owned and operated by Serkan Gunaydin and the team at ‘Classical Tours'.

Classical Tours began in 1995 as an A Group Travel Agency in Alanya, and has since grown to contain a number of branch offices throughout the different districts of the Turkish Riviera, from Kemer to Gazipaşa. We are currently working on enlarging our company throughout all of Turkey, the first step of which was achieved by opening a branch office in the capital city Ankara, to provide services in Central Anatolia. We also plan to have offices in Istanbul and the Aegean Region of Turkey.

Today, as a result of developments in media, people can learn a lot about the different lives and cultures of the people around the world. But tourism and travel add a spirit besides learning by allowing the people to feel, smell, and touch the values of the visited destination. This spirit is the key to making people realise that the differences between the destinations are bringing the real richness in the world. This sprit is the key in making people respect others, and respect is the key to bringing sustainable peace in the world. I love this spirit brought by tourism and travel.

Classical Tours is aware of its responsibilities to the local community and environment. The main source of tourism is dependent on social, cultural, and natural values. Without these values a sustainable tourism approach is impossible. The company sets its existence being totally integrated to its social and natural environment by taking active roles in supporting them by any means. We believe without being integrated with the social, cultural and natural environment of the destinations, a touristic experience is not complete.

In our destination we do our best to convince tourists to join as many activities as they can. We believe a tourist who just stays in a hotel cannot have a complete touristic experience. Those who participate in activities in the destination can experience the social and cultural environment, and of course give economical benefits to the locals. We employ local people and students in our company, so they can have the economic benefits of tourism. We have also recently taken an active role in a project for restoring a local village.

We have been growing since day one, but not in an aggressive way. Targets for growing are set, and the steps to reach the targets are determined carefully, considering every detail, in a slow and healthy way. To carry a growing body, a strong base is needed. In the tourism sector a strong base means having quality and responsible human sources. In every department, we have qualified multilingual staff dedicated to their mission, helping the company to provide services in the best possible way with minimum errors.

For both international and domestic tourists we serve all kinds of accommodation, transportation, catering, and assistance services. In the local regions, daily adventure and cultural excursions are offered, as well as long cultural trips with overnights in areas such as Anatolia, Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Istanbul etc. All excursions are lead by professional and experienced local tour guides in order to provide the best information services to the guests who are participating.

Wake up with a sea view, walk on the beach, swim, at the same moment view the ancient castle on the hill, then drive 15 minutes to be on the mountains, visit villages, eat local food in traditional ways, experience the local life and hospitality, visit farms, smell the citron fields, taste bananas, come back to city, visit the local bazaar and enjoy the local shopping ways, then walk in the modern clean streets, shop in modern centres, eat in luxury restaurants or in local restaurants, go to a local cafe and smoke water pipes, taste Turkish coffee, go to pubs and have cocktails, go to a Turkish tavern playing cheerful Turkish music, go to night clubs and dance to the morning, take your guitar and make your music on the beach under the stars. Then the next day join boat tours, off-road rides, rafting, hiking, visit ancient ruins from different ages, visit museums, take bus travels to nearby environs… all those in one destination! Turkey offers a lot more than sea, sand and sun!

A little bit about me:

My name is Serkan Gunaydin. I was a student in the science and mathematics field aiming to be an engineer in the future. But a travel experience I had changed my life. During that travel I was in contact with tourists from different countries, and I still feel the joy I had being in contact with people from different places. The owner of the hotel I was staying in observed my relations with the people and offered me a summer job commenting that I could be successful in tourism.

That was a spark causing me to enroll in a tourism faculty instead of a faculty of engineering. Still feeling the same joy and spirit I have no regrets. I also finished a faculty of business administration. I have now spent 12 years in the tourism industry, during which I eagerly took positions in every department of the travel business, helping me now have full control in managing Classical Tours. I am also a professional tour guide licensed by the ministry of culture and tourism and am proud to be able to express my knowledge of my country to the participants of tours lead by me.
